Candidate Privacy Notice
What We Collect
When you submit an application through apply.brightbeam.io, we collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and timezone
- Your expected hourly rate
- Answers to role-specific questions
- Your resume (PDF)
- Your IP address and the timestamp of your consent
Why We Collect It
We use your information solely to evaluate your application for a role at BrightBeam. Specifically:
- To review your qualifications and experience
- To contact you about your application status
- To match you to open roles (for pool applications)
AI-Assisted Review
BrightBeam may use AI tools to assist in reviewing applications. This may include summarizing resumes or highlighting relevant experience. A human always makes the final hiring decision. AI is used as a tool to help our team review applications more efficiently — it does not autonomously accept or reject candidates.
Data Processing
Your data is processed using high-security infrastructure:
- Cloudflare D1 — relational database for application details
- Cloudflare R2 — secure object storage for resume PDFs
- Resend — secure email transmission
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your application data at any time. We retain data for 12 months unless otherwise requested.
